Health Tag Updates - Out of the Box
After creating an account and pairing your tags, please allow up to 15 minutes for your Health Tags to update. Each Health Tag contains a small bit of code inside called firmware, which may need to be updated, but this doesn’t require any action on your part and will happen automatically!
While a Health Tag is auto-updating, the green LED for your Health Tags may begin to pulse, but this will stop once the update is complete.
On a day to day basis, your Health Tags will attempt to sync with the app. If they have been worn, but have been out of range your mobile device and have data stored on them, they can hold up to 48 hours of data before beginning to overwrite previously recorded data.
How much memory does each Health Tag have?
Each Health Tag can store up to 48 hours of event or interval data before it needs to be synced with the App on your mobile device. Generally speaking, it will take around 5 - 10 minutes to sync 48 hours of data from your Health Tag to the App.
How long do individual Health Tag Batteries last?
Health Tags each have an onboard built-in battery, this means your health tags need never be charged. While this is an amazingly convenient change to how wearables are used on a day to day basis, we are frequently asked about battery life.
The Official Warranty
Based on extensive testing, and with typical use, the battery in your Health Tags will generally last 1200 hours or 12 months whichever comes first.
How Usage Affects Battery Life
The more a Health Tag is worn the faster the internal battery will be depleted. This is why we typically recommend a larger pack size to cover a myriad set of clothing and spread the total battery life across a number of tags. After extensive testing and based on customer feedback we have noted that with routine use a Health Tag battery may last over 1200 hours. When used in a pack of 8, Health Tags can last 1-1.5 years.
